autumn is my favorite time of year, but living in texas i don't get to experience that moment when the weather snaps and leaves start to fall. nonetheless, i am still overjoyed that the season is finally here! here are some of my top reasons why...
i'm a sucker for the cold and although we don't experience much of it down here, i am still constantly daydreaming about being in it. lol. one day, i will be able to spend the fall months somewhere other than texas.
snow is just as delicious, but there's something about those autumn leaves that just makes me smile. vibrant reds, golds, browns, and yellows...lovely.
what would any year be without a little - or in my case, a lot - of college football? texas's colors are burnt orange and white. burnt orange = the color of some fall leaves. coincidence? i think not! HOOK 'EM HORNS!
love, love, love sweater shopping. i wear them year round, but fall is when the cutest of the cute come out to play ;-) (absolutely LOVE this outfit, by the way)
now, i don't love nfl football nearly as much as college, but it still keeps sundays and mondays exciting. go texans!
as a family holiday, thanksgiving is our favorite. nothing like good company, good food, and football. (though, my favorite holiday personally is christmas)
candy galore, pumpkins, and decor! what is there not to love about halloween??
nyc is one of the most majestic places during fall, and everyone seems to be in higher spirits. there's no place i'd rather be during this season.
autumn is the perfect season to fall...no pun intended ;-)
