francophile /ˈfræŋ

Show Spelled[frang-kuh-fahyl] - noun: an admirer of France and everything French.
my love affair with everything french began when i was 12 years old and in the 6th grade. i elected to take a course entitled "french culture & language" with madame birchfield. little did i know that at such a young age, french roots were being planted in my world. when i was 22 and after 10 years of french courses, i graduated with a minor in french from the university of texas. i have never been able to explain this fascination in words, but as cliché as it may sound, the french just have a certain je ne sais quoi. whatever it is and in whatever form it's in, it never fails to excite me or make me smile.
i was flipping through the pottery barn catalog the other day and came across some new, fantastic pieces that make me say, "oooooh" every time i see them. i have always loved the look of french wire and that is what this new collection is all about.
anthropologie, my favorite store, also has these fabulous frames right now.
expect to see a few of these pieces in my home, shortly. :)
